CV
Dr. Pinson grew up in Grand Junction, Colorado. He attended Yale University for his undergraduate degree. He then attended The George Washington University for medical school, graduating with honors. He returned to Denver for his general surgery residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Pinson joined the practice in 2003 after completing residency. He is Board Certified in general surgery. For the past 17 years he has practiced primarily at St. Anthony Hospital focusing on acute care surgery, trauma and critical care. Over the years his practice has involved all areas of general surgery. While his current area of focus is on trauma and acute care surgery his interests and expertise include advanced laparoscopic procedures, soft tissue infections, complex hernia repair, complex surgery of the gastrointestinal tract, rib fixation as well as non-oncological general thoracic procedures.
In his free time Dr. Pinson enjoys skiing, golfing, basketball, cooking and spending time with his family.
