Rachel J. Caiafa, MD, FACS

Rachel J. Caiafa, MD, is board certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.  She is a member of the Colorado Medical Society, American College of Surgeons, Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.  She received her undergraduate degrees from Indiana University and attended medical school at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, IN.  She completed her internship and residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA.  Dr. Caiafa then completed her Surgical Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery fellowships at UCSF-Fresno  in Fresno, CA.  

In her free time, Dr. Caiafa enjoys skiing, biking, and spending time outdoors with her dogs.  She also loves being up in the mountains and travelling with her husband.  As an avid reader, any good book recommendations are greatly appreciated.
